Successful InneauTech Integrated Modelling of Urban and Surface Water symposium

Jaarbeurs Meet Up Utrecht - 23 May 2018

On 23 May 2018, InneauTech organised the Integrated Modelling of Urban and Surface Water symposium in Jaarbeurs Meet Up in Utrecht, the Netherlands. On this day the focus was placed on the water modelling software InfoWorks ICM of Innovyze, known for their innovative modelling and management software for the water sector.

The nearly 50 attendees agree that it was a fascinating day. Andrew Walker, an Innovyze expert, provided in-depth information about 2D terrain modelling, of both urban and rural areas, and the modelling of rivers and waterways. These software presentations were interspersed with interesting Case Studies of InfoWorks ICM Users. Several projects and models were covered, which demonstrated the diversity of the programme.

During the invigorating breaks and tasty sandwich lunch, attendees had the opportunity to get to know each other and share experiences with other users and interested parties. The audience was a fun and diverse group, and consisted of consultancies, water boards, provincial and public institutions from Flanders and the Netherlands.

In addition to InfoWorks ICM, the following products were also illustrated by the Innovyze experts: the real-time modelling tool ICMLive, the module for working with time series TSDB and the design software for rainwater infrastructure and source measures XPDrainage.
